Please read these terms carefully before using Tura.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Tura, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including students, teachers, and any other visitors.
2. Description of Service
Tura is an AI-powered study companion that provides AI chat, PDF-based study assistance, and schedule management. We offer a free Learner plan and paid plans (Scholar, Scholar Plus, Power) with higher usage limits. Features and plan limits may change as the product evolves.
3. User Accounts
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Tura. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or have verifiable parental consent, to use Tura.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use Tura for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others. • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Tura API or infrastructure. • Share, resell, or redistribute access to paid plan features. • Use automated scripts or bots to send large volumes of requests. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
Content you create using Tura (chat outputs, generated summaries, quizzes) is yours. You retain ownership of any files you upload. Tura's underlying software, branding, UI design, and AI models are the property of the Tura team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reproduce any part of the Tura interface or software.
6. Plans, Billing, and Refunds
Paid plans are activated manually upon payment confirmation. Plan periods are defined at activation (e.g., monthly or semester). Payments are non-refundable once a plan is activated, except where required by law. We reserve the right to change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice. Your current plan will not be changed mid-period without your consent.
7. Usage Limits
Each plan tier has defined daily or total usage limits for AI chat, library files, and schedule entries. Exceeding these limits will prevent further use of the affected feature until the limit resets or your plan is upgraded. Limits are enforced server-side and are subject to change.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Tura uses AI models to generate responses. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional academic, legal, medical, or other advice. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of Tura is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Tura, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep Tura available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or face outages beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tura and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or academic outcomes.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last Updated' date. Continued use of Tura after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
